KT13 8PX 220512 I am a very patient, calm easy to get on with person who enjoys working with others especially the elderly. I provide hourly , companionship the odd overnight stay and respite care. My rates are £20 per hour. I have been actively involved and employed in the care sector since I left college. During that time have built up extensive experience in working and managing residential care settings working in care for 40 plus years having worked my way up from a care assistant to a registered manager. I have also worked in domiciliary care settings, and working with different client groups , over the years. I have achieved NVQ levels 2, 3, 4 and Level 5 in Health & Social Care plus kept up to date with all mandatory training throughout my career , ensuring I'm up to date with all the latest legislation and good practice guidelines. In the main I have always worked with the elderly, which I have found interesting but equally challenging in some cases, although this has helped develop my skills and knowledge in handling different situations. I take pride in everything I do and always provide excellent quality compassionate care. I have a wealth of experience, understanding, patience and empathy, in building a good rapport with clients and their families and frequently told I am very approachable, friendly and will go the extra mile for everyone who needs support. I am very dedicated and passionate about what I do, which is Care. I am a hardworking conscientious person that gives 100% in everything I do. Over the last couple of years I have been working as a private carer for clients who live in their own homes, which I have found interesting and rewarding, which has enabled me to use my vast experience, knowledge, skills and expertise. I have worked with dementia clients for the majority of my career and have a great amount of compassion and understanding and treating everyone as an individual. I 've provided tailored care plan to suit the clients I've worked to ensure they receive the utmost care , specific to their requirements. I have also provided End of Life care for clients ,and ensured their wishes have been carried out as requested. I have been working with a gentleman in his own home over the last couple of years who has advanced stages of dementia so I fully understand dementia covers such a broad spectrum. I am very experienced in all personal care duties , including giving assistance with washing /bathing & bed bathing if required. I have plenty of experience I and training in medication administration. I like to keep busy and will do any admin / household duties to ensure a clean and safe environment. My hobbies and interests are meeting new people, going to the theatre/ cinemas, visiting places of interest. I am a very active person that likes to go on walks, swimming, holidays, touring and seeing new sights and cultures. Please get in touch if you think I can help you. I look forward to hearing from you. 1 1 {"field_week_day_first":1,"field_is_available_first":true,"field_care_type_first":"1","field_week_day_second":2,"field_is_available_second":true,"field_care_type_second":"1","field_week_day_third":3,"field_is_available_third":true,"field_care_type_third":"1","field_week_day_fourth":4,"field_is_available_fourth":true,"field_care_type_fourth":"1","field_week_day_fifth":5,"field_is_available_fifth":true,"field_care_type_fifth":"1","field_week_day_sixth":6,"field_is_available_six":false,"field_care_type_sixth":"","field_week_day_seven":7,"field_is_available_seven":true,"field_care_type_seven":"1"}

KT12 2RB 80273 Hello, some information on what I have been doing for the last four years - I was previously employed as a carer for a very frail lady in South Africa, mainly as her companion and driver, taking her to appointments and best of all, coffee dates. I arrived in the UK in June 2020 at the start of the lockdown due to Covid, at the beginning of my caring career in the UK I initially worked as a live-in carer in the Oxford area for some months, after which I decided to change to domiciliary caring and at the same time moved to Walton on Thames from Bristol as I wanted to be close to my daughters, one of whom lives in Walton and the other in London. I was full time employed as a domiciliary Carer through an Agency in Ashford for about a year and a half which is where I did a large proportion of my training at the same time have enjoyed meeting many lovely clients, who at times were challenging but we ended up being good friends and we both looked forward to our regular visits. Since leaving the agency environment I changed to a more self-employed way of working in the domiciliary caring industry in and around Walton, Weybridge, and Cobham, though have found myself visiting and driving clients as far as Leatherhead and Croydon. I have many hobbies but most of all enjoy knitting for my grandchildren of whom I have two, walking my dog along the river and all the wonderful parks around our area, reading, cooking and my regular yoga practice. 1 2 {"field_week_day_first":1,"field_is_available_first":true,"field_care_type_first":"1","field_week_day_second":2,"field_is_available_second":false,"field_care_type_second":"","field_week_day_third":3,"field_is_available_third":true,"field_care_type_third":"1","field_week_day_fourth":4,"field_is_available_fourth":true,"field_care_type_fourth":"1","field_week_day_fifth":5,"field_is_available_fifth":true,"field_care_type_fifth":"1","field_week_day_sixth":6,"field_is_available_six":false,"field_care_type_sixth":"","field_week_day_seven":7,"field_is_available_seven":false,"field_care_type_seven":""}

KT15 3HD 131182 My name is Drew and I have been a carer for many years. I believe that as a carer, your clients well-being is in your hands. They become to rely on you and that is something I have always prided myself in that my clients and I become very close and even if I make their day a tiny bit better with just a friendly face and a smile it means I’m doing the best I can. I have worked in all fields of care, mostly Dementia, End of Life & Elderly. I will always do my best to make sure that they have everything they need and require as ultimately I am the person who cares for them. I believe that everyone should spend their last days, months and years having the upmost dignity and respect given to them along with all their care needs. Treat others how you wish to be treated is my motto and I put 100% into it because it’s a field I love dearly and become extremely close with my clients and their families. Kt12 1Pe 40098 I’ve been working as a HCA since 2016 and I have acquired my care certificate. In addition, the training I require for the job is up to date due to receiving it frequently. I have much experience in providing personal care for elderly people with dementia and physical disabilities. Furthermore, I am more than capable in providing safe levels of care. I am confident and knowledgeable when it comes to operating all of the lifting equipment e.g. Full body hoist, Standing hoist, Ceiling Hoist, frame, wheelchair, and many others. I consider myself as a person who is consistently courteous. Every day without failure, I give to my clients the opportunity to choose what it is that they would like to do, so that I know they will be satisfied, and because it is the equitable thing to do. Respect, approbation, dignity, promote independence. That is my perspective of my work with them, always respecting their wishes, because the most important thing is to make an efficacious impact in their daily lives. I also have experience in fluid and nutrition, basic life support, catheter care, challenging behaviour, patience with diabetes, dementia, food hygiene and safety catering, COSHH. Additionally, I have had personal experience for 21 years because of my disabled twin sons. One has a physical disability that requires the use of a wheelchair due to his quadriplegia, and the other has autism and a behavioural disorder. They are the reason I love this job, because they have impacted my life in a way that has given me the yearning to help others that cannot help themselves. Areas that I cover are: Walton on Thames, Weybridge, Esher, Hersham, Molesey, Hampton court. 1 {"field_week_day_first":1,"field_is_available_first":"1","field_care_type_first":"1","field_week_day_second":2,"field_is_available_second":"1","field_care_type_second":"1","field_week_day_third":3,"field_is_available_third":"1","field_care_type_third":"1","field_week_day_fourth":4,"field_is_available_fourth":"1","field_care_type_fourth":"1","field_week_day_fifth":5,"field_is_available_fifth":"1","field_care_type_fifth":"1","field_week_day_sixth":6,"field_is_available_six":"1","field_care_type_sixth":"1","field_week_day_seven":7,"field_is_available_seven":"1","field_care_type_seven":"1"}
