SW15 2SR 120052 I have worked in various social care settings for over 8 years from which I gained a broad knowledge in providing professional support to service users to enable and promote independent living and fulfilment. I am a conscientious worker and a credible team player with high degree of flexibility towards performance of my work. I believe that health and well being play a vital role in people’s lives, therefore I have always admired people that work in the health industry. I am a caring, friendly and sensitive individual who has much experience of working carer. Due to previous experiences of working with a range of people in the care sector I believe that throughout my time on various work placements with people who have disabilities and difficulties in communicating, along with the experiences gained throughout my studies, my wish to pursue a career in the care profession has grown. I currently work as a field care supervisor which has given me a valuable experience of working with people and how to assist their needs in any way possible. On my spear time I am an abstract artist and I am studying art and therapy. 2 1 {"field_week_day_first":1,"field_is_available_first":true,"field_care_type_first":"1, 4, 5","field_week_day_second":2,"field_is_available_second":true,"field_care_type_second":"1, 4, 5","field_week_day_third":3,"field_is_available_third":true,"field_care_type_third":"1, 4, 5","field_week_day_fourth":4,"field_is_available_fourth":true,"field_care_type_fourth":"1, 4, 5","field_week_day_fifth":5,"field_is_available_fifth":true,"field_care_type_fifth":"1, 4, 5","field_week_day_sixth":6,"field_is_available_six":true,"field_care_type_sixth":"1, 4, 5","field_week_day_seven":7,"field_is_available_seven":false,"field_care_type_seven":""}

As a female carer with extensive experience in the field, I have worked with individuals dealing with a range of conditions including Mild Cognitive Impairment, Bedbound patients, Parkinson's Disease, Anxiety, and Depression. I am well-versed in providing essential care services such as bathing, toileting, assistance with dressing, catheter care, and companionship. Although I cannot drive and do not own a car, I am more than capable of providing reliable and thorough care to my clients. While my skills and experience make me an excellent choice for live-in, hourly, or overnight care, my passion for this work goes far beyond the technical aspects. I genuinely enjoy engaging with my clients and building meaningful relationships with them. When I'm not caring for others, I enjoy spending my time engaging in various hobbies such as walking, playing card games, cooking and baking, doing puzzles, and decorating. I also have a love for animals and have no preferences when it comes to pets - I am comfortable around cats, dogs, fish, rabbits, and birds. Throughout my career, I have been recognized for my caring nature, friendly demeanor, and helpful attitude. I truly believe that everyone deserves to be cared for with compassion and understanding. My motivation as a carer stems from a genuine desire to make a positive impact on people's lives and help them maintain their independence for as long as possible. 0 1 {"field_week_day_first":1,"field_is_available_first":false,"field_care_type_first":"","field_week_day_second":2,"field_is_available_second":false,"field_care_type_second":"","field_week_day_third":3,"field_is_available_third":false,"field_care_type_third":"","field_week_day_fourth":4,"field_is_available_fourth":false,"field_care_type_fourth":"","field_week_day_fifth":5,"field_is_available_fifth":false,"field_care_type_fifth":"","field_week_day_sixth":6,"field_is_available_six":false,"field_care_type_sixth":"","field_week_day_seven":7,"field_is_available_seven":false,"field_care_type_seven":""}

It was not something I'd imagined while studying computer science at Cambridge. Many years were spent in the tech industry, but that career did not give me any personal satisfaction. While living abroad 20 years ago, I was struck by a car whilst walking on the pavement. As a result, I spent months in hospital and in recovery for the better part of a year. I became a carer two years ago, and I draw upon this experience and channel my empathy to all the men I look after. In the years I've been a carer, my personal approach to care-giving has yielded significant results. To give one example: the connection and trust I built with one 93-year old gentleman led him to stop sleeping on the living room sofa and start sleeping in his hospital bed in his bedroom for the first time in years. He'd been very resistant, but now sees the benefits: he cited having a good night's sleep and less back pain. Preparing fresh food for him also made a big difference, and he is now eating at least one full meal a day. In so many small ways, I know I am making a difference - from ensuring their hearing aids or internet connection are working to connecting with their friends or medical assistants, my approach can best be summed up as personal, tailored, and empathetic. I principally serve SW15, but please call me if you are slightly outside that area and I believe that I can help you. {"field_week_day_first":1,"field_is_available_first":"0","field_care_type_first":null,"field_week_day_second":2,"field_is_available_second":"0","field_care_type_second":null,"field_week_day_third":3,"field_is_available_third":"0","field_care_type_third":null,"field_week_day_fourth":4,"field_is_available_fourth":"0","field_care_type_fourth":null,"field_week_day_fifth":5,"field_is_available_fifth":"0","field_care_type_fifth":null,"field_week_day_sixth":6,"field_is_available_six":"0","field_care_type_sixth":null,"field_week_day_seven":7,"field_is_available_seven":"0","field_care_type_seven":null}

SW15 4PY 275601 I am experienced and effective, a good listener and enjoy adding value to people's quality of lives. I have more than 5 years of personal and professional experience working in the care industry and have developed a compassionate approach. I work hard to get to know my clients, so I can help them enjoy their interests and hobbies. I have worked with people with stroke symptoms, dementia and other chronic conditions and delivered care in a holistic manner. Recently, I provide care for stroke rehabilitation including identifying new and unmet needs for prompt referrals, signposting, education and management. A day with me would be typically extended hours of visit as I spend time to significantly support clients and meet their personalised needs as part of promoting their independence and dignity, building trust and relationships. I am flexible between day and night shifts and preferably one client per day covering areas within 10 miles. As they say, variety is the spice of life and I enjoy a wide variety of things including informative and hearty chats, reading and studying, sports, current affairs among others. Please get in touch, I'd love to hear from you. 1 1 {"field_week_day_first":1,"field_is_available_first":true,"field_care_type_first":"4, 5","field_week_day_second":2,"field_is_available_second":true,"field_care_type_second":"4, 5","field_week_day_third":3,"field_is_available_third":true,"field_care_type_third":"4, 5","field_week_day_fourth":4,"field_is_available_fourth":true,"field_care_type_fourth":"4, 5","field_week_day_fifth":5,"field_is_available_fifth":true,"field_care_type_fifth":"4, 5","field_week_day_sixth":6,"field_is_available_six":true,"field_care_type_sixth":"4, 5","field_week_day_seven":7,"field_is_available_seven":false,"field_care_type_seven":""}
